At 720 Repair our mission is to inspire the Santa Fe community to embrace the art of repair. We believe that repair is not only a practical skill, but a mindset that fosters sustainability and creativity. Through repair services, hands-on “repair circles,” and community engagement, we aim to educate and empower fellow Santa Feans to restore repair to the classic mantra "reduce, reuse and recycle". Meet Gordy
With a career spanning engineering, project management, and product development, Gordon has designed, built, and maintained complex systems across a variety of industries. From fiber optic telecom to custom car designs, and IoT systems, his focus has always been on understanding how systems work and making them better.
Beyond his professional expertise, Gordy has been passionate about repair since childhood. Whether rebuilding bikes, restoring a colonial house, or fixing household gadgets, he’s always found joy in taking things apart, learning from them, and making them new again.
In fall 2024, Gordy retired and founded 720 Repair, a business dedicated to spreading the philosophy of repair to the Santa Fe community. Through his small appliance repair shop, he encourages others to fix rather than dispose, helping to extend the life of everyday items and reduce waste.
